Nerves

So it's been a while since I have posted anything here...LOL. Anyhow. I am really wanting to get my story started with my sims that took me weeks to create. I have to admit though...I'm a bit nervous. I see all of these really awsome stories out there and I am a bit intimidated...LOL. Anyhow...

Some of my work is done

Some of my work is done. I finished the tweaks on my site. These tweaks were suggested on the forums that I am on and, now that they are done, the site looks much better. If you are reading this, thank you for all of the suggestions.
Now I need to look into some way to put my story up on the web using a book type format. If at all possible, I don't want to just plaster the pics up on the site and now you have to scroll around. I like the "page turning" feel.
I'm pretty sure I can't put the Eldhin story on the Sims2 site. Eldhin tends to get a bit...graphic in some spots. Mainly for the language, all of Marcus...LOL Anyhow. I need to do some looking around.
Now one of the forums I am on is screaming for a self sim....LOL. That's all they need. Well at least there won't be the roach problem anymore in their games. ;)
I also have some houses to make. My lovely wife bought me a magazine with over 500+ floor plans in it. So I will be busy for a while...LOL.

Major Setback

Sometimes this web thing can be so stupid! I tried to put a PayPal donate button on the site and it decided not to work, so Calli made a subdomain on Eldhin. Now I am going through trying to do it the hard way. So, needless to say, Eldhin the story, will be pushed back again. Damn it!!

Happy Valentine's

Well, I've been very busy. I just finished making a bunch of metal shirts. 44 to be exact. Getting ready to work on some other types of shirts. Not 44 but not one or two either. We went shopping today and I got a magazine that has over 500 house plans in it, so I will be doing some houses as well. Before I do that though I really need to get working on my Eldhin sims. I really want to get those finished so I can start on this story. I'm actually getting excited about it.
Once I get rid of an idea, 5 more pop in there...LOL. I am thinking about simming my muse. I know it's odd, but I'm not the most normal person in the world. ;)

My First Entry

So this is my first entry in my brand new blog. This blog will focus on my Sim Addiction my MySpace blog will be reserved for everything else.
I joined three new forums and love each and every one of them. I found two of them through NoukieSims2. These forums are a rare find. I have always wondered why you need to pay for sims content when it doesn't cost anything but time to make. Also, the base that you work off of comes from Maxis in the first place. So why some people are saying "This is mine you can't use it anywhere." I don't understand that cause it's really Maxis's and they are allowing us to change and recolor THEIR creations. How we can turn around and say you can't redistribute or you have to pay to get these...I don't know. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
My site will always be free. I will occassionally add a donate button on my site, but that's so I can keep my site free. Everyone, whether you donate or not, gets the same content.
Anyhow, off of my soapbox...LOL. I am working on lots of things at the moment. The main thing is my Eldhin story. Still making the Sims for the characters. I have also decided to try my hand at some Sims videos. The first one I am going to attempt is a song from Testament called Trail of Tears. Beautiful song, I hope I can do it justice.
I am really wanting to do Eldhin as a Sim movie but that's going to take a lot of preparation and some more networking on my part.
